DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS

1 – Clean with NOMA 686 Interior Cleaning Agent

  • Step 1: Shake Bottle 1 well before use to ensure the solution is evenly mixed.
  • Step 2: Spray a moderate amount onto the stained area or onto a sponge or cleaning cloth.
  • Step 3: Use the sponge or a damp cloth to wipe evenly in small sections until dirt and stains are removed.
  • Step 4: For stubborn stains, repeat the process instead of scrubbing too hard.
  • Step 5: Use a soft, dry, and clean cloth to immediately wipe off any remaining solution, foam, and dirt.
  • Step 6: Check the surface again. If dirt remains, continue cleaning with a moderate amount of solution.
  • Step 7: Wait for the surface to dry before moving on to the conditioning step.

Important: Do not use Bottle 2 while the surface is still damp, foamy, or has cleaning solution residue.

2 – Condition with NOMA 686 Interior Curing Agent

  • Step 1: Make sure the surface is clean and dry, then shake Bottle 2 well before use.
  • Step 2: Spray a moderate amount onto the surface or onto a polishing sponge, then use the sponge to spread the product evenly over the entire area to be conditioned.
  • Step 3: Apply gently, making sure the product is spread evenly and does not pool in patches.
  • Step 4: Wait about 1 minute for the solution to penetrate and form a protective layer.
  • Step 5: Use a soft, dry, and clean cloth to wipe the entire area again.
  • Step 6: Check the surface under light to make sure there are no product streaks or pooled areas.

USAGE NOTES

  • Use the product in the correct order: Cleaning Agent first, then Curing/Conditioning Agent.
  • Do not use the Curing/Conditioning Agent before cleaning. Applying conditioner first may lock dirt into the leather surface and reduce absorption.
  • Do not pour either product directly onto the leather. Always apply onto the sponge pad first.
  • Use separate towels for the cleaning and conditioning steps.
  • Do not scrub aggressively, especially on premium leather.
  • Do not use on suede, nubuck, fabric seats, carpets, or headliners.
  • Do not use on torn, peeling, cracked, heavily damaged, or severely worn leather.
  • Do not use on surfaces with unknown coatings without testing first.
  • For old, deeply absorbed stains, repeat the cleaning step 2–3 times if needed. If the stain remains, professional detailing may be required.
  • Recommended use: every 1–2 months for frequently used vehicles, or every 2–3 months for vehicles used less often.
  • Important: NOMA 686 helps clean and condition smooth leather surfaces. It does not repair torn leather, peeling leather, deep cracks, permanent discoloration, or structural leather damage.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

1. What is the difference between NOMA 686 and NOMA 692?

NOMA 692 is a one-bottle cleaner for fabric and leather surfaces, suitable for quick regular interior cleaning. NOMA 686 is a 2-step leather care kit for deeper leather care, including both cleaning and conditioning. It is more suitable for smooth leather seats and premium leather interiors.

2. Can NOMA 686 be used on premium leather such as Nappa or Full Grain?

Yes, but always test on a small hidden area first. Premium leather types may react differently depending on the finish, dye, and previous care products used.

3. Can I use the Curing/Conditioning Agent before the Cleaning Agent?

No. Always clean first, then condition. Using the conditioner before cleaning may lock dirt into the leather surface and reduce the conditioning effect.

4. Can NOMA 686 be used on suede, nubuck, or fabric seats?

No. NOMA 686 is designed for smooth leather and high-quality synthetic leather surfaces. Do not use it on suede, nubuck, fabric seats, carpets, or headliners.

5. How often should NOMA 686 be used?

For vehicles used frequently, use NOMA 686 every 1–2 months. For vehicles used less often, use it every 2–3 months. If the vehicle is often parked under sunlight, more frequent conditioning may help maintain the leather surface.

CONCLUSION

NOMA 686 is a practical 2-step leather care kit for keeping smooth leather seats cleaner, softer, and better maintained. The correct process is simple: clean with Bottle 1, wait for the leather to dry, then condition with Bottle 2.

For the best result, always test first, use the correct order, avoid over-applying, use separate towels for each step, and allow the seats to rest before normal use.
